About This Site

This web site is an online resume and portfolio of works that I have done using my skills as a web designer and web programmer. It is written in PHP and should load in under 0.3 seconds. It is designed using a search engine optimised layout and uses pure CSS. Also optimised for the iPad.

Currently I have been focusing on search engine optimization and marketing, and custom Joomla development.

About Me

Overall I'm a very well rounded Joomla expert/consultant. I wouldn't say that I'm right up there with the best Joomla developers but I can come up with some great solutions.

From my early schooling days in Adelaide, I had a love for computers and art. Since then I have grown and learned to encompass these two loves and intertwine them in to my life.

At school I studied classical art, such as impressionism. Later after finishing school, I enrolled in to university to study Computer Science and Electronic Commerce. (Bachelor of Information Science (Electronic Commerce))

While at university I worked at a small web design company where I developed my skills as a web monkey and then furthered them after leaving and starting my own free lance work in the same field working with many overseas clients.

In 2004 I teamed up with a few other web designers to form a company and work collectively for a greater cause, but alas, I have left there now as my views and directions in life didn't coincide with that of the others.

After which I continued my studies at the University of South Australia and worked fulltime at the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (formerly Transport SA) developing the intranet and maintaining the internet site using technologies that included, MySource Martix, and Microsoft S. The intranet migration required the resources of a content mangement system called MySource Matrix where I played a part in migrating and integrating the sytem to the Department. I also worked on many Microsoft Sharepoint projects including the roll out project to the Department.

I am a huge fan of the Joomla content management system and have been creating custom designs and implementing many instances of Joomla for my clients and business that I have worked for. I consider myself very well versed as a Joomla designer/developer and can customise it for any solution.

Since leaving the Government I have found myself working for various companies around Adelaide including, Beyond Imagination Entertainment, Sputnik Agency, Omni Ad and Liquid Graphics just to name a few.

I'm always looking for a challenge to push my knowledge and skills further.

In 2007 I joined with my partner and developed a thriving business in the field of web design and development.

In the past few months I have found myself travelling between Adelaide and Sydney more and more often picking up new clients on both Sydney, Canberraand Adelaide.

More recently I have been picking up more content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress. I've been building more and more sites using these two systems.

I'm looking forward to working on more Joomla projects this year with new Sydney clients in 2012.
